GENERAL ASSISTANT REQUIRED
TO WORK IN THE SCHOOL KITCHEN
Grade 1 – 12.5 hours per week

Due to the continued expansion of St. John’s Primary Academy, we have a vacancy for a 12.5 hours per week General Kitchen Assistant. The 12.5 hours will be worked between 11.00am – 13.30pm Monday to Friday during term time. The working times may vary depending on service needs.
As a General Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking meals for pupils
Serving meals to our pupils and staff
Assist keeping the kitchen and dining hall clean & tidy
General Kitchen Duties
Washing up
Being aware of the pupil’s needs and dietary preference
Previous experience is desirable, but training will be given. Candidates must be willing to undertake the Level 2 Food Safety and any other relevant training.
