L'Amitié à Travers la Manche: French Pupils Enrich St Johns School Experience
St. John's Primary Academy warmly welcomed ten children this week - Élise, Naelle, Lylia, Mila, Léna, Amaury, Arman, Lucas, Justin, and Théo - from the École International Henri Farman in Reims, located in the Champagne region of France.
Throughout the entire week, they fully immersed themselves in the life of St. John's. Accompanied by their teacher, Monsieur Fabricio, and assisted by parent helper Madame Audrey, they actively participated in school activities, enhancing their English skills and providing St. John's pupils with the opportunity to practice their French.
Their experience included delightful lunches in the school dining room and stays with host families, including pupils and staff from St. John's Primary Academy. They enthusiastically engaged in various activities alongside their host families. Monsieur Fabricio also conducted engaging workshops for small groups of St. John's pupils, fostering motivation and inspiration.
This marks the beginning of a partnership with our new friends from France. In the future, it will offer our children the chance to spend time in France and attend École International Henri Farman in Reims. The cherished memories created during this visit are sure to endure, and we anticipate the wonderful friendships formed will last a lifetime.
